Sports Ministry in India

This video is an example of how sport is used to reach Muslims and Hindus in India. I love the spirit of this man, and his heart to evangelize the lost through sport.

What can we do to help him reach people for Christ?

Sports Ministry Blogging

Welcome to the blog of the Sports Ministry Department at Moody Bible Institute.
We started this blog to provide resources for you: our students, and give you a way to network with other people interested in Sports Ministry.

But this blog is not only for students, it is for the high school athlete, the high school coach, the camp director, or the sports & recreation pastor. For anyone who participates in sports and sees sport as a tool to be used in reaching out to others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So what can you expect from this blog?

You can expect to read about discussions held in our various sports ministry classes here at Moody.

You can expect to gain valuable links and resources for different sports ministry opportunities around the world.

You can expect to be encouraged by stories and testimonies of different ways that sports ministry is being used right now.

Please feel free to take part in the conversation that happens here on this blog. One thing to understand is that this is not a one-way conversation. You should not only be taking from this blog, but please feel free to give back to this blog.

How do you give back?

By reading the posts, thinking about what is written, and then leaving those thoughts as comments on the blog to further nurture the conversation.

By sharing this blog with other people who are passionate about, interested in, or who have heard of sports ministry.
...sharing it on facebook, myspace, twitter, email, aim, etc.

With all that said, I hope you will subscribe to this blog, and enjoy it as we embark on creating an online community around sports ministry, and then transferring that community into real-life relationships.
